- Project: Latin American Film Festival

- Role: Concept, design & Animation
- Description: With this exuberant animation we celebrate a bright and vivid Latin America. Completely build up from hundreds of colorful triangles and polygons we tried to show the broad and contrasting world of Latin American life. All design was made in 2d, then we took some shots and build a 3d world out of the same separate triangles. We touch on dance, religion, revolution and many other themes in this short roller-coaster of images.

- Description: VAW is the 'Women's Academie West': A platform to help women with a foreign background to socialize, get an education, volunteer or to find a job. The platform is backed by various organisations and institutions in Amsterdam.

- Project: Stern Assist
- Client: Stern Auto
- Role: animation
- Description: Stern Auto is the greatest Mercedes-Benz dealership in the Netherlands. Crooked Line was asked to produce an animation for their newest product; Stern Assist. Stern Assist is a little smart-box you can install in your car to assist users to track the location of their vehicles, keep logs of your rides, find your car in case of theft and schedule maintenance. Crooked Line was responsible for the entire production from concept and design to actual animation.

- Description: SellAnApp believes there should be a simple and connected way to transform all your brilliant ideas into an actual mobile app. Crooked Line was asked to produce an animation for their website to give a short introduction on how their website will work. Crooked Line was responsible for the entire production from co-writing the script, design to actual animation.

- Description: Cinematic leader for 23rd Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival. We were asked by the AFFF to create the festival leader, based on the poster design by Jeroen Joosse. For us the main challenge was to make hundreds of discs form a flat image and then make that image fly away in 3D. - Description: A poem questioning whether everything revolves around the girl or whether things should be turned around for once... For the release of his new publication, we were asked by poet Krijn Peter Hesselink to pick one of his poems and turn it into an animation. Because poetry and animation each have their own dynamics we agreed that this was not going to be a literal translation of the poem, but first and foremost an animation inspired by his words. When we planned to orbit around a handdrawn image of the author, we did not fully realize that this would entail days of scribbling the same figure over and over again with pen on paper, each time from a slightly different angle. When we finally managed to digitize the result and write a piece of code to actually fly around this 2D hand drawn figure our hard work paid off. We set free our ink drawings and gave them an extra dimension.

- Description: Inspired by Japanese chamber screens (byobu), we follow cherry blossoms as they fall down a branch. We travel through landscapes filled with iconic Japanese imagery; Lilies, Koi, waterfalls and bamboo mountains.
