    • Project: Sherlock
    • Client: Warner Brothers
    • Role: Everything
    • Description: Sherlock Holmes is back in Warner Brothers' big screen adaptation - and our job was to promote it widely on-line. Instead of competing with the film's 1890's foggy London, we created a layered and modern interactive film where viewers can dissect one scene from 4 different vantage points. 100 people on set, one live owl, 3 DPs, 3 shooting formats and 7 cameras. A highly cinematic mashup of modern stylized drama and timeless homage to the Victorian butler who never really did it. Or did he?

    • Project: Windows 7 Interactive Tour
    • Client: Microsoft
    • Role: Everything
    • Description: Windows 7 is here. One of the biggest launches in Microsoft history. The central and very hands on demo of a new breed of Windows. Show and tell that goes back to the roots and very basics of making computers run. And run well. Real life scenarios. Real features. And one equally real developer from Microsoft on screen, showing how and why this version is different. That’s accountability. Silverlight and Flash development, live action, motion graphics – and a few special effect tricks we borrowed from European theatre stages anno 1700.

  • Description:

Digital Kitchen is a creative agency that focuses on film production, experiential design, motion graphics, brand identity, and interactive work for marketing and entertainment. So we’re the people who will make your brand, space, spot, site, product, or show feel powerful, look great, and otherwise get sexy and influential. We’re high gloss and matte finish, persuasive and complete.

That is: we can stretch from strategy and messaging to concept development and execution in just about any medium – including skywriting, which we view as underutilized and often poorly designed. We excel in the expanding media spacescape by harboring creative thinkers who are agile, inventive, and dedicated to their crafts.

From our studios in New York, Chicago, Seattle, and Los Angeles DK has created experiential campaigns for Target and Microsoft, broadcast spots for hundreds of leading brands, interactive work for AT&T, Budweiser, and Mercedes, the Emmy Award-winning main titles for “Dexter” and “Six Feet Under”, a series of manga comic books for Nike, the live show content for The 2008 Webby Awards and countless accomplishment lists like this one.

We’ve thrived for 12 years by seeking both clients and creators who are willing to experiment. We are proud of our work and immensely enjoy making it.
