    • Project: B.I.T.F - VFX Edit
    • Client: MadBlush
    • Role: Compositon and VFX Creative Artist
    • Description: An intense visual provocation, apprehensive, agressive. My concept was to push the limits of the colour's visual aggressiveness, as assembling the intense visuals of MADBLUSH with my owns - the unification of colour and music as a mean of information and its symbology, specially red and blue. Red is the colour placed into the limit of ours' eyes visual perception and blue, its contraposition. Hence the motive of such aggressiveness and its strong visual stimuli. Singer and Producer: MADBLUSH

    • Project: Do I Feel Happy?
    • Client: Video Art
    • Role: Editor, Motion Designer, Director
    • Description: Most people remember Marilyn Monroe as the stereotypical of the dumb blond, addicted to pills or even a drug user, as her behavior and feelings used to vary from one extreme to the other. But she was no dummy nor a drug addicted. This is my video art tribute to a truly a complex woman, intellectually curious, poetic, bright and deeply emotional. "I restore myself when I'm alone and the nicest thing for me is sleep, so then at least I can dream."

    • Project: Blonde - The Reflector Side Of Beauty
    • Client: Black Nail Cabaret
    • Role: Full creator of the video.
    • Description: The Reflector Side Of Beauty A body, a surface, an device that reflects lights, heat, sound and emotion to convey the history of a reflecting telescope of the true definition of talent and its beauty that was and will forever be Norma Jeane Mortenson also known as Marilyn Monroe. The substance I used is to prevent the escape of neutrons from the core of a nuclear the reactor of the wrong image most people think as she is remembered by. This video an adaptation from the official video clip (also created by me) for the music, “Blonde” by Black Nail Cabaret. Monroe is never completely situated at one time or place but has become a surface on which narratives of celebrity culture can be (re-) constructed and functions as a cultural type that can be reproduced, transformed, translated into new contexts, and enacted by other people. She is the eternal shapeshifter who is re-created by each generation, even each individual to their own specifications. For sure she is misinterpreted as the birth to the STUPID BLOND STIGMA and its sex symbol image that comes with it. Her intelligence and wit can be easily seen in her writing as this quote for an interview for Life Magazine in 1962 (year in which she was on the cover for almost of all its issues). “I never quite understood it, this sex symbol. I always thought symbols were those things you clash together! That’s the trouble, a sex symbol becomes a thing. I just hate to be a thing. But if I’m going to be a symbol of something I’d rather have it sex than some other things they’ve got symbols of.

  • Description:

I’m a video editor, motion designer and post production professional, sort of a perfectionist. I deliver a job well done while syncing the soundscape, colours and effects while talking to the metaphor of its visual representation.
The sound in my view does not depend on melody or its pitch, but the feeling, color – its depth. I also believe that music is an image developer, it brings the impact, even if they do not talk to each other visually.
When I finished high school, living in a small town in RS (no one knows what to do in life after school, I surely did not know), I joined the Agronomy Graduate at PUC RS, attending till the 8 half semester (there were 10). But as the years passing by, months, weeks and days, the more and more I felt like a lost metropolitan lost at the up from under meadows.
Then I realised I had to open my horizons so I went to live in Los Angeles, 6 months in Santa Monica studying at ELS Language Center and 6 months in Venice Beach.
Back to Brazil, I got back to my studies this time in Graphic Design at Laureate International Universities in Porto Alegre and by the middle of the course I began to read and learn a lot about Motion Design My career began at parties (I’m a very social person with great social skills), making video art projections, then VJ and Teasers for fun and to get my name around, of course.
While working at Opus Promoções, we did projects for clients like Coca Cola, Group Zaffari, Black Eyed Peas, Green Day, Shakira, Nora Jones, Liza Minelli, among others in the music industry.
After this experience, I did some projects in the fields of videoart and videoclips for the UK Band “Black Nail Cabaret / Basic Unit Productions” and the independent artist MadBlush.
All these experiences, new challenges and also by my highly self-taught, multidisciplinary and researcher nature, allowed me to work and learn with professionals from different backgrounds from a very early age.
I believe that to communicating and working with synergy is what makes an idea turn into an ideal. Some MEMEs are always welcome of course.
